About
Mikol Brinkman (b. 1993, New York City) is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist known for his paintings and ceramics, which draw from found-source imagery such as magazines, QSL ham radio cards, and newspaper clippings. Influenced by imagery that resonates with his upbringing in rural Northern California, Brinkman’s work explores memory, nostalgia, and the emotional landscape of place. Through references to personal history and subcultural interests, his practice reflects an ongoing dialogue between past and present, examining how images circulate, persist, and shape identity.
